Is the xbox potentialy more powerfull then the playstation graphics wise?

Is the xbox potentialy more powerfull then the playstation graphics wise?
I mean look at some games like gears of war and , halo odst, gta episodes from libery city and mass efect . I mean these games have great graphics and till now i havent seen any playstation game that even comes close to the graphics of these games. Is the playstation hardware potential weaker then xbox hardware?

Man are you living under a rock for the past year? First Killzone came and ABSOLUTELY destroyed the best the could offer Gears and then Uncharted came which trumped KZ meaning it trumped the entire line up.. Uncharted at E won more Best graphics awards than the entire awards won by all games put together UC won more than GOTY awards last year greater than ANY game and even the media regards UC as the best looking game this gen on consoles.brbrPS just is built for the future.. All PSs have a mandatory HDD and BluRay, Plus a much more powerful Cell processor. Even years into PS life, the games keep on getting better and better. Currently, God Of War is coming out and already few people who have the review copies say the scale of the game and the graphics beats UC.. So that will be the new graphics king for sure.brbr has hit its max too soon... Gears was jaw dropping, however Gears wasnt much of a leap and Halo is absolute sh!t in the graphics department it runs at P for crying out loud SUBHD!!!!! Not even P HD like normal games... Mass Effect is good looking, but is built on Unreal Engine rd party also working on PS which frankly cant hold a candle in front of PS first party engines custom built.brbrPS is soon getting an update which will allow D games so each game has to be rendered wice at FPS which only a PS can do... Dont you wonder why the isnt getting D lol? Its cause it wasnt future proof and the MB EDRAM creates a bottle neck.....
